At Martha’s Menagerie, located in Harrowsmith, Ontario, we understand your concerns about leaving your Feline friend while away from the home, be it for travel, work or illness. This time can be stressful for both cats and humans alike. The in home environment provided by us is quiet and very restful. The cats are not kept in crates but each family, be it one cat or more, has a room to themselves with a window and a ledge for viewing the world outside, relaxing or sleeping. Each room is also equipped with a bed or cosy chair for more comfort. As most cats can be left alone for a few days we usually get longer term feline boarders or ones that require daily medication, a service which we gladly offer. For the more energetic cat there are ledges on the wall for cats to leap on and play. Kittens can never get enough exercise and since cats need anerobic exercise jumping up to the highest place on different ledges provides the perfect solution. We can provide a litter box and litter, but if your cat is particular you are welcome to bring your own. Martha’s Menagerie requires that all cats be spayed or neutered and have all their shots up to date.
